Our Actuarial Services Unit currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Pension Administration Consultant. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with prior consulting experience in the pension field, and be highly motivated and energetic with an attitude that will contribute positively to the era of growth and innovation the company is entering. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a vision for the Pension Administration product and provide the proper strategic direction.
  • Establish and lead process development and process improvement for all aspects of Pension Administration work in the unit.
  • Oversee new client conversions and set-ups.
  • Collaborate with other units to identify and develop opportunities to:
    • Sell outsourcing services to new clients.
    • Cross sell services to existing clients.
  • Develop and lead finals presentations and product demos.
  • Rely on consulting experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Monitor the pension administration related work performed by analysts and administrative assistants and implement plans for improvement when needed.
  • Coordinate with the Actuarial Services Practice Leads, Manager of Actuarial Services, Director of Administrative Services and the Service Center Supervisor on:
    • Processes and workflow.
    • Building teams that work effectively together.
    • The preparation and review of engagement letters.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Develop new tools and approaches that improve efficiency.
  • Optimize team resources to support timely and accurate completion of client deliverables.

Job Requirement

  • College graduate with evidence of strong problem solving skills.
  • 10+ Years of related defined benefit administration work experience.
  • Deep knowledge of defined benefit administration issues.
  • Consulting and management experience.
  • Proven track record of new business development.
  • Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Keeps abreast of latest developments in administration and outsourcing
